Habari – Postgresql Blog App
Habari is a new open source push at a better blog application. I’m no fan of WordPress, I use it.. but only because I don’t know any better.
ha·ba·ri – noun
Definition — Swahili greeting: What’s the news?
Why did I find Habari?
I don’t like MySQL, I much prefer PostgreSQL. Habari supports PostgreSQL! WordPress does not.
Habari is young and I am yet to try it out, but I will get it a go and let you know what it is like.
WordPress is great, but it isn’t going anywhere. I don’t think it can grow in a sustainable fashion. It gets released with too many bugs and there has to be something better.
Bring on multi-database support. Go Habari!
